Marilyn P. Carter:
Marilyn (Lynn) Carter, Founder of Carter Capital Management, oversees daily operations for the company including investment strategy, and trading activity support. She also drives the high standards of personal service and communications to ensure client satisfaction.
Lynn began her career in 1986 at Wells Fargo Advisors. She was responsible for trading and investment strategy for the institutional, public fund, and high-net-worth clients whose accounts she has continued to serve. Lynn has structured security deals valued at billions of dollars. She has over twenty years of extensive experience in the industries of cash management strategies, structuring government agency debt, and her extensive knowledge in both the taxable and tax-free fixed income area.
A graduate of Capital University, Lynn earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration. She holds her general securities (Series 7) and The Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63) and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65) as well as licenses to sell insurance and annuity products in the state of Ohio.
Marilyn was named as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Columbus Monthly in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
